These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cleanzo.pro, the Cleanzo mobile application, and the home-cleaning services booked through them (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by Cleanzo Services Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka ("Cleanzo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
Definitions
"Customer" means a person who books a cleaning service through the Platform. "Partner" or "Technician" means an independent service professional onboarded by Cleanzo who delivers the booked service. "Booking" means a confirmed request for a specific service at a specific date, time, and address. "Slot" means the scheduled start time window for the booking. "Service Fee" means the total amount payable for the booking, inclusive of GST and any add-ons. "Cancellation Window" means the period before the Slot during which a booking may be cancelled without a cancellation fee, configured per service type and shown at checkout (default: 6 hours).
Your account
You create an account using your Indian mobile number. We verify the number through a one-time password (OTP) sent over SMS or WhatsApp via our communications partner. You are responsible for keeping your phone number current and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you lose access to your number, contact support@cleanzo.pro to recover the account. We do not allow shared or transferred accounts.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. At launch, Cleanzo operates only within serviceable pin codes in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We may expand to other cities; the list of serviceable areas at any time is shown in-app and on the website. Bookings made for addresses outside our service area will not be confirmed, and any amount charged will be refunded.
Booking services
You may book a service by selecting a category, a property size (BHK), a date, and a Slot. Each booking is subject to Partner availability. Once payment is captured, you will receive a confirmation with the booking ID, Partner assignment (usually 30-60 minutes before the Slot), and contact details. Some services require an on-site inspection before final pricing is confirmed; in such cases, the in-app estimate is indicative and the final invoice will be shared before work begins.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed Indian payment aggregator. We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking, and select wallets. Cleanzo does not store full card numbers; saved payment instruments are tokenised by Razorpay in compliance with RBI guidelines. All prices on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate. Our GSTIN is displayed on every invoice and is available on request at billing@cleanzo.pro.
Cancellations
You may cancel a booking at any time. If you cancel outside the Cancellation Window, you receive a full refund. If you cancel inside the Cancellation Window, a flat cancellation fee applies, shown at the point of cancellation. The Cancellation Window defaults to 6 hours before the Slot but can be configured per service type; the applicable window is always shown at checkout and in the booking detail screen. Customer obligations
To allow our Partners to do their work safely and well, you agree to: (a) ensure that an adult resident is present at the address during the Slot or share alternative access arrangements in advance; (b) provide running water and electrical power as required; (c) secure pets and valuables before the Partner arrives; (d) treat Partners with courtesy and refrain from any conduct that is abusive, discriminatory, or unsafe; and (e) not request services outside the scope of the booking without first agreeing to revised pricing through the app.
Service quality
We stand behind the work our Partners do. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the cleaning, raise a concern within 24 hours of the Slot via the Help section of the app or by writing to support@cleanzo.pro. We will investigate and, where appropriate, send a Partner back for a free re-clean or issue a partial or full refund. This satisfaction commitment does not cover pre-existing damage, structural staining, or outcomes that fall outside the published scope of the service.
Liability
Cleanzo takes reasonable care to prevent damage to customer property during a booking. If accidental damage is caused by a Partner during the course of a booking, claims must be reported within 48 hours of the Slot with supporting photographs and the booking ID, and we will work with you in good faith to agree a resolution. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income or data.
Prohibited uses
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform to harass, defraud, or harm anyone; (b) attempt to contact Partners outside the Platform to circumvent fees; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's operation; (d) submit false identity, address, or payment information; or (e) use the Platform in violation of any applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate an account where we have reasonable grounds to believe these Terms have been breached, including for repeated late cancellations, mistreatment of Partners, fraudulent payments, or safety risks. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to respond before suspension. You may close your account at any time from the Profile screen or by writing to privacy@cleanzo.pro.
Dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, the language of arbitration shall be English, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be notified through the app or by SMS, and continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
